Introduction to IBM Hybrid Cloud Technologies
This workshop helps you learn to work with hybrid clouds and container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Helm and OpenShift across different private and public clouds. Participants will use Open source solutions, IBM technologies to learn how to build hybrid cloud applications based on containers.

During this workshop, participants will use Open source solutions, IBM technologies and various cloud platforms to learn how to build hybrid cloud applications based on containers. IBM is providing several solutions based on Kubernetes: IBM Cloud Paks, IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service and Red Hat OpenShift - all running anywhere. We will discover basics of container technologies, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Operators, Helm on public and private Clouds.

Workshop format: this is a technical workshop with presentations, demos and hands-on exercises.
Location: this is an online workshop. Participants and instructors will communicate via WebEx video conference.
Audience: born on the cloud, entrepreneur and mobile developers, web architect, web developer, software engineer.
Prerequisites for attendees:
- some knowledge of Kubernetes
- your own computer (or laptop) with web browser and internet access
- have an IBM Cloud account. If you don't have it yet, you can create it for free at cloud.ibm.com/registration
- SSH or Putty will be used on most of the labs.
